Terrance "Terry" Sweeney is an American writer, comedian and actor. He was a writer and cast member of Saturday Night Live in the 1980s.[1] He co-wrote the 1989 movie Shag, and has written for the television series MADtv, Hype, and Tripping the Rift.[2]

Sweeney is openly gay.[3]
