Robert Terence John Whitehead (born 10 January 1957) is a British sprinter. Whitehead competed at the 1980 Summer Olympics.[1]

Biography

Whitehead finished third behind Maurice Peoples in the 400 metres event at the 1978 AAA Championships.[2][3] Shortly afterwards he represented England at the 1978 Commonwealth Games in Edmonton, Canada, in the 400 metres and 4 x 400 metres relay events.[4][5][6]

At the 1980 Olympics Games in Moscow, he represented Great Britain in the men's 4 × 400 metres relay.[7]
