Urvil Patel (born 17 October 1998) is an Indian cricketer who plays for Gujarat in domestic cricket and Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League.[1] He made his Twenty20 debut for Baroda in the 2017–18 Zonal T20 League on 7 January 2018.[2] He made his List A debut for Baroda in the 2017–18 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 7 February 2018.[3]

Ahead of the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy, he transferred from Baroda to Gujarat.[4]

He is a right-handed batsman and wicketkeeper. He natively belongs to the village of Kahipur in Mehsana, Gujarat. He was bought for Rs. 20 lakhs by Gujarat Titans in IPL 2023 season.

Urvil Patel scored fastest T20 century in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy against Tripura on 27 November 2024 at the Emerald Heights International School Ground in Indore.[5]

Urvil Patel was signed to Chennai Super Kings as a replacement for Vansh Bedi who has been ruled out Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 due to a ligament tear in his left ankle.[6] He was hired by CSK for his base price of INR 30 Lakh.[7] He made his IPL debut on 7 May 2025, playing for CSK against Kolkata Knight Riders, scoring 31 runs off just 11 balls.[8]
