LGB versus LGBTIA+

Some gays, lesbians, and bisexuals are distancing themselves from the rest of the letters. This is due to the hard fight for equal rights that gays, lesbians, and bisexuals had to do before any other letters were added.

Apparent to most of us, LGBTQIA+ has become more of an extreme leftist political party. As LGB's we don't always agree with the politics of TQIA+. Furthermore, many of us who had to fight for equal rights for homosexuality don't identify with people who "feel like they're in the wrong body".

To LGB's it is about sexual preference, to TQIA+ it is about changing the fundamentals of their actual gender. To this point, LGB's cannot relate with transgender people's because to them it is about sexual preference, not identity.

Many "regular old gays, lesbians and bisexuals" do not like the fact that of everything else that has been tacked on to the back of LGB because it is not congruent with sexual preference, and has become a WOKE MOVEMENT, using our already established LGB lettering. It's like "it worked for them so we'll piggyback on what they started".
