Abubakar Meer (Thai: Abubakar Meer; RTGSAbubakar Meer; born 2 January 2008), nicknamed Ak, is a Thai actor, model and host.[1][2]

Personal life

On December 8, 2023, he married Ploy Iyada Abubakar Meer (maiden name Srimoontree). The couple had been dating for 1 years before getting married.[3]

Career

He debuted in a Thai television drama based on the life of Varayuth Milinthajinda, ali baba 2. He appeared in commercials and music videos.[4] He is host of Workpoint Entertainment.

Lawsuit

Ak has held the position Singer lawsuit (CMO), sharing the role with Pechaya Wattanamontree and Yuranunt Pamornmontri at The iCon Group Co., Ltd.[5]However, following The iCon Group case, abubakarmeer a temporary suspension of his hosting duties on all Workpoint Entertainment programs on October 10, 2024,[6] before officially terminating his contract with The iCon Group on October 12, 2024, stating, "Everything must be within the standards of correctness"[7]

Subsequently, on October 16, 2024, a warrant was issued for ak's arrest. Workpoint then issued a statement terminating its contract with Ak as a host and artist[8] before he was apprehended by the police on the same day.<ref>{{Cite news|date=October 16, 2024|
