Bota Capital is a Brazilian hedge fund based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It specializes in value investing. The company was founded in 2017 by Dr. Caio D.L. Schettino I. It currently has R$23 billion in assets under management. According to Schettino, three companies which form the backbone of the Bota Capital portfolio are: Golden Goose, Grey Goose, and Canada Goose. In 2018, Schettino donated R$4 million to the FLF (Free Lunch Fund) and R$16 million to Botafogo.
