Why you have chosen this article to evaluate?

I figured this was important to look into since there were lots of cases that involved social change movements, and that has come to my attention to look into it further to see how inclusivity over the last few decades have evolved within our generation.

Evaluate the article

Lead Section

• Has a clear and concise introduction to explain briefly what the topic will be based on
• Describes the topic well enough to follow along
• Brings up topics that get mentioned throughout the article
• Seems overly detailed and can be adjusted to simplify the introduction more clearly

Content

• Relevant to the topic, mentioning the history behind the situations
• Content looks up to date and some within 5 years
• Political related sections bring up a different subject that would leave readers confused
• Article talks about equity with making sure those impacted can tackle on the issues faced

Tone and Balance

• Content sounds neutral in most cases
• Certain sections talk about criticism among others that could get political
• Viewpoints are made but some mention other things that may not make sense at first
• Article seems to be neutral enough to get people to read further

Sources have references to them but some paragraphs are left without citations

• They are current and relevant in today's time
• Authors and activists mentioned to express the idea behind a diverse community
• Lots of sources are linked to news sources and some websites that focus on social justice

• Categories organized to discuss on different types of discrimination and how they're addressed

• Includes sources unsure about adding and clarifying the meaning behind some terms

• Status of this article is not bad but could be better
• Focuses only on one area rather than an international standpoint
