- ^ EuWO 1996, §2(1): Die Wahl ist von der Bundesregierung durch Verordnung im Bundesgesetzblatt auszuschreiben. Die Verordnung hat den Wahltag zu enthalten, der von der Bundesregierung im Einvernehmen mit dem Hauptausschuß des Nationalrats auf einen Sonntag oder gesetzlichen Feiertag festzusetzen ist. Die Verordnung hat weiters den Stichtag zu enthalten.
