Kia ora, I'm DMB
[edit]Hi there! My name is DMB (short for Damobdotboss) and I'm a proud New Zealander based in the stunning South Island of Aotearoa. I'm a citizen of New Zealand with strong family roots that extend into the Middle East. This blend of cultures gives me a deep appreciation for diversity and global perspectives.
I’m fluent in English and enjoy contributing to Wikipedia to help build a more informed, accessible, and accurate source of knowledge for everyone. My editing interests often reflect my background: articles about New Zealand communities, geography, history, and sometimes topics related to the Middle East.
Why I love New Zealand
[edit]New Zealand is more than just a place — it’s a way of life. From the peaceful mountains and pristine coastlines to the warmth of the people and the strength of our multicultural identity, I feel privileged to call this place home.
A few things I love about living here:
- The natural beauty — lakes, alps, beaches, and bush all within arm’s reach
- The laid-back, friendly attitude of Kiwis
- Our commitment to fairness, democracy, and Treaty-based governance
- The cultural richness that comes from Māori, Pākehā, Pasifika, Asian and Middle Eastern communities living together
My Wikipedia Philosophy
[edit]I believe in contributing respectfully, reliably, and with a neutral point of view. I value accuracy, citation, and collaboration. While I’m not an expert in everything, I bring a strong sense of curiosity and a willingness to learn.
