My name is Daniel Wright. I was born in the UK in the city of Sunderland on Wednesday 6 December, and lived in Newcastle-upon-Tyne until moving to Stirling for university.

I studied History and Politics at the University of Stirling for 4 years until graduation, when I then served as the Vice-President Education at the University of Stirling Students' Union for a year. I then worked in the Directorate of Internationalisation & Partnerships at the University of Stirling.

In 2021, I moved to Edinburgh, and took up a role working at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. I remained in this job until July 2023, when I started my current job as Head of Representation & Leadership Development at Edinburgh Napier University Students' Association.
