The Storm

The storm article never mentions how the story is broken up into different sections. This could be added to the plot summary section or discussed in the analysis section. It helps each section to be interpretable on its own or in context with the entire story.

The symbolism section does not mention the narrator's comparisons between Calixta and nature. There is figurative language used to describe her as a dove and a creature. Both of these comparisons help show the natural and wild part of the affair.

Additionally, it is important to note that affairs were not thought highly of during this time period. The fact that the author did not shame the couple at all within the story is important. It puts the affair in a different light than the public would be used to.

To Build A Fire

It is mentioned that the protagonist is unnamed but the implications this has on the story are not discussed. It could be added that is helps to limit the reader from forming a bond or making connections with this character. It also assists in preventing readers from grieving his death.

The relationship between the man and the dog could be discussed more. This is a central part of the story. The interaction between the two is the main way that the reader can see the man's personality. This could be discussed in a section of its own.
