This is the user page for Douglas Dean Johnson. I am an independent journalist who, on a non-commercial basis, investigates and reports on subjects that interest me. Much of my work appears on my blog, Mirador. I wrote a number of major articles in 2007-2013, became inactive on Wikipedia, and resumed activity as of January 5, 2022. I have extensive professional experience (and extensive document archives) pertaining to federal legislation, and activity in the federal Executive Branch and federal courts, on a number of major public policy issues.
