GUNANGAR SHAMSHI KHEL is a beautiful and historical village in tehsil CHAKISAR district SHANGLA KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA. This village is located on the banks of the Indus River and at the foot of high mountains. This village has a distinct identity in terms of history and geography. Alexander the Great spent some time in the PIR SAR outskirts of this village, which is part of history. The people of this village are associated with agriculture. Due to its fertility, wheat, rice, millet and all of kinds fruits especially there are large gardens of orangs. The Shamshi Khel tribes are local to this village and the rest of the nations have migrated from different areas.
