It's interesting that whenever articles about the village of Woodhall Spa appear there is never any mention of the quirky museum that has represented the life and culture of the village for over twenty five years.

On average, its events and activities contribute on average over £90,000 per year to the local economy.

It is housed in a rare Boulton and Paul corrugated iron bungalow, the home of a local family from 1887-1965. The bungalow was bought by the museum trust in 1986 and first opened its doors as a museum in 1986. It's first day was expensive for the trustees because so many people crowded into the first room in the building that the floor collapsed! This has set the tenor of the museum, volunteer run and independent the trustees have become past masters at involving the community and managing on a shoestring.

2012 sees the museum being full accredited [1]
