I am a American man born in 1985 in Charlotte, NC. I grew up in Darien, CT. I received my undergrad degree in economics from Duke University, where I discovered Wikipedia in 2005 or 2006. My roommate and I would play a game by each clicking random article at the same time. First one to have visited the page or knew more about the page they landed on than one could see would win.

I worked in oil and gas in Fort Worth for a few years before getting my MBA from Rice University, graduating in 2016. I then worked in oil and gas finance for a few years at a large bank in Dallas.

By that time, my drinking had gotten out of control. I got sober, reevaluated my priorities, and now I teach high school chemistry, statistics, and finance at a boarding school in Maine.

Started editing early, but never really put much effort into it, especially regarding references and citations. I am trying to be a better contributor and have fewer of my edits reversed while being chastised by the reverser for some error.
