Cyan I (stylized as *cyan i*) is an American recording artist, songwriter, and producer from Knoxville, Tennessee. Known for blending cinematic trap, alternative hip-hop, and dark soul, Cyan I has built a distinctive sound characterized by emotional intensity and storytelling.

Career

Jonathan Peak began his musical journey in 2012 under the alias Hero Zeal. In 2017, while based in Los Angeles, he rebranded as Jonathan Lemar and released a 20-track conceptual album titled 20 Chapters. The album explored themes of identity, transformation, and inner conflict.

In 2018, he adopted the moniker Cyan I to reflect a deeper artistic evolution. Under this name, he founded his independent label, Spirit-Made Republic Music Group, and began producing music with a cinematic and spiritual edge.

His 2020 single, "Demon Slayer", received attention in independent music circles and was featured in music blogs including Roadie Music and Music For All, highlighting his raw lyricism and dark, atmospheric production.

In 2021, he released his full-length album Rebirth Arc, further cementing his signature sound and earning recognition among fans of experimental and emotionally charged hip-hop.
