Robert "Kofi" Daye (born July 8, 1988) is a Jamaican American political consultant, grassroots organizer, and content creator. He is the founder and principal strategist of *Momentum Strategies Group*, a political consulting firm based in Washington, D.C. Daye is known for his direct involvement in policy advocacy, campaign organizing, and community-based political work.
Early Life and Education
[edit]Daye was born prematurely on July 8, 1988, in Washington, D.C., weighing four pounds. He is the son of an African American mother and a Jamaican father and identifies as Jamaican American. Raised in a working-class household, Daye developed a deep commitment to social equity and grassroots activism.

[edit]Daye began his advocacy work with Good Jobs Nation, organizing for fair wages and union protections for federal contract workers. He was active in public demonstrations and legislative engagement efforts surrounding federal labor protections.
In Washington, D.C., Daye played a contributing role in the passage of critical worker-centered legislation, including the city’s **minimum wage increase**, **paid family leave**, and **paid medical leave** programs. Subsequently, Daye held field staff roles in several successful local and state-level campaigns, including Trayon White’s election to the D.C. Council, Darryl Barnes’s campaign for the Maryland House of Delegates (District 25), and Krystal Oriadha’s 2022 election to the Prince George’s County Council (District 7). In 2024, he joined the campaign team for Raquel Terán in Arizona.
