Early life
[edit]Terry was born in Syracuse, New York, the first generation in his family to be born in New York.[https://www.lucidholdingscompany.com/about#OURTEAM Terry attended Meachem Elementary School in Syracuse New York Until his departure to St. Helena Island South Carolina in 1998.
He grew up in a predominantly African-American, middle-class neighborhood in Syracuse.
