Bilal Fassy has been in IT industry ever since 1990, started as a software developer and formed a internet company in Sri Lanka as Visual Internet (Pvt) Ltd, back in 1996 which provided dialup and dedicated leased lines to its customers. Voice Over IP (VOIP) was new technology where internet was used to make low cost international phone calls and he started a company called DTR Networks (PTE) LTD and selling its services to US clients.
He met his business partner Robert Braun at formed RateMax LLC in 2007.
