Most of his Wikipedia activity involves correcting specimen numbers related to specimens from the Natural History Museum where he works. He also makes corrections to the pages of species of taxonomic groups that he knows well. He has published over 70 articles in scientific journals on the New Zealand tuatara and helped name several fossil genera including Aygroua, Beelzebufo, Regalerpeton, Eileanchelys, Opisthiamimus, Threordatoth, and several species including Marmorerpeton wakei.
