About Me

Hi! I’m Maria Karam, an interdisciplinary researcher, inventor, artist, and community organizer based in Toronto. I work at the intersection of human-computer interaction, artificial intelligence, and Sustainability. I’m also deeply involved in Toronto’s independent arts scene, particularly as the founder and operator of The Redwood Theatre, a historic venue that supports live music, performance arts, circus training, and community events.
