Just prior to World War II, Albert Einstein sent a letter of warning to President Roosevelt. Einstein told FDR that there may be a possibility of creating an Atom Bomb and that Germany had the Physics professors who could create this monster weapon, the ultimate weapon of mass destruction.

Roosevelt was smart enough to listen to Dr. Einstein and so within a few months of receiving this letter, The Manhattan Project was conceived and put into operation. It would be headed by Dr. Robert Oppenheimer, professor of physics at University of xxxx.
