In today's society, one of the biggest downfalls that our education system fails to mention is the information readily available about sexuality. Our culture has reached a point where we have become familiar with the terms gay, straight, lesbian, and bisexual, although these labels still don't provide us with a complete understanding of human sexuality.

Sexuality is and has always been a complicated subject within society. Pansexuality is often confused with being bisexual. For instance, "being bisexual means you're attracted to more than one gender, while identifying as pansexual means you're attracted to people regardless of sex or gender". [1] In other words, "being transcendent of gender, meaning: it isn't limited by gender". [1] For example, being attracted to tall people regardless of their sex or gender.

The word pansexual is derived from the Greek prefix, "pan" meaning "all", "and encompasses all who feel that they are sexually, emotionally, or spiritually capable of having relations with all genders and sexual identities".[4] While this term is still relatively new, it dates back to the 20th century and the works of Sigmund Frued, who believed that human behavior is motivated by sexual instinct.

Some people to mention who identify as pansexual are Miley Cyrus, Janelle Monáe, Kristen Stewart, Angel Haze, and more. In fact, last year the world "pansexual" became the most searched word of the day on Marriam-Webster's dictionary when Janelle Monáe came out as being pansexual. The term "pansexual" is becoming more popularized and more and more people are coming out as being pansexual.

The article "Pansexualism" could use more references, citations and more than just one definition would be helpful. It can be considered a "stub" which means the article is deemed too short to provide the right amount of information. I would say it could be a bit more developed. Here are some additional sources:
