I love volcanoes. My favorite volcanoes are:
Mount Erebus, an Antarctic Stratovolcano located on Ross Island. It is the southern most volcano in the world and is one of few volcanoes around the world with an active lava lake.

Kīlauea, the most active volcano in the world, located on the Big Island of the Hawaiian Archipelago.

Mount Vesuvius, an active Stratovolcano in Italy, known for being the volcano that destroyed Pompeii.

Mount Kenya, an extinct volcano located in Kenya. I like Mount Kenya because when I first tried to research it I couldn't find any information about it's past volcanism.
