Operation Sindoor was an offensive operation launched by the India on 7 May 2025 towards alleged militant training camps of Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed across nine locations in Pakistan.[1][2][3] The military operation was launched as a response to the terrorist attack near Pahalgam in Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir which took place on 22 April 2025.[4]
