The simple dental formula of a Myotis bat is 2.1.3.33.1.3.3[1]. This can be applied to Myotis yumanensis as well.
Reproduction
Yuma Myotis typically undergo a polygynandrous mating system, where a female pairs with several males, each of which also pairs with several different females. Males and females are usually around 1 year old at the time of sexual and reproductive maturity. Breeding occurs annually in the fall, but ovulation and fertilization will not occur until the following spring. Yuma Myotis will usually only produce 1 offspring.[2]
Behavior Like all bats, Yuma Myotis is nocturnal, being the most active at night. They're active movers, and have also been seen to migrate.
