Hey I’m Paul and have a great interest in computers, transport and more specifically UK railways. I joined Wikipedia in 2008 and have made a few edits during this time, with a view to becoming more active with my contributions towards Wikipedia.
I often use the platform to gather facts about most aspects of life, and strive to correct any mistakes or errors that are known to be true.
A few facts about me:
I am from the North East of England, have a strong passion about railways and rolling stock, my favourite locomotive being the BR Class 37, whereas my least favourite is the BR Class 67 as front window reminds me of the back window from a Citroën Xsara Picasso… We’ll leave that one there. I have a model railway and also volunteer at a heritage railway, working with rolling stock such as the BR Class 08 and BR Class 03.
Computers are of a great interest, along with an IT career spanning 21 years. My first computer was a Windows 95 Elonex, however I now currently daily drive a MacBook Air as my preferences have shifted somewhat. I am getting into 3D printing, recently investing in a Bambu Lab A1 and along with my model railway - is starting to be the cause of much much 3D printed junk that I need to cut down on.
Any questions - please reach out via my talk page and any mistakes you think I may make - pleas let me know!
