Hello! I'm Phxlm, a contributor to Wikipedia focused on improving content related to Northeast India — especially the languages and cultures of the Zohnahtlak communities. I'm deeply interested in indigenous language documentation, open knowledge, and creative tools for research and expression.

About Me

[edit]

I was born and raised in Northeast India, a region known for its rich diversity of languages and cultures. My background led me to focus on linguistic heritage and documentation, particularly among the Zohnahtlak communities, which are often misrepresented or misunderstood in broader classifications.

What I Work On

[edit]

On Wikipedia, I primarily edit and create articles that highlight underrepresented languages, correct linguistic misclassifications, and provide contextually rich content. One of my ongoing efforts is to help rename and reorganize the so-called "Kuki-Chin–Naga" language grouping to better reflect the reality of the Zohnahtlak linguistic landscape.

Other Interests

[edit]

In addition to linguistics, I explore:

  • Python programming – for automation, tooling, and creative code projects
  • Music – composition, history, and theory
  • Visual art – digital illustration and visual storytelling
  • Open-source platforms – for collaborative and cultural preservation work

Articles I've Created

None yet – but working on it!
