PolarisNC Trust me, if I knew how to I'd make this a little cooler as well. Nothing shall stop me when I unlock the power of colors! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! /j (tone indicator)
Visit my guestbook and sign!
Also, my Sandbox! (I know you probably don't care, but I think it would do wonders for myself to have a quick link. Also, you can see too, which is never too bad.
Hello, I'm Rowan! You probably know me as PolarisNC, casual North Carolinian. You might also recognize me as NorthStarMI, but that user is depreciated. I strive to make Wikipedia a better place while also being a semi-funny semi-serious state patriot. If you're wondering what happened to the Michigander in me, I had a change and realized my backstory. I don't live in the state, but I hail from it. I am also active on the Simple English wiki to help expand articles. My favorite article I've got on random page patrol was Polaris Building. Guess why?
My work on Wikipedia involves mostly small grammar corrections, although I have contributed to a discussion about this here article and helped it remain on the project.
Here is a list of links you will find me using commonly. You can use these too, but I mainly have these so I can jump to my main activity on the project. I will improve upon this list.
Anyway, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a campaign. Things that as of now have the most proof against an opposing argument should there be any should be treated as truth while maintaining the fact that there is some dissidence to said opinion, however stating it's incorrect. This is why I believe that Wikipedia should be kept neutral when it is necessary to stay neutral, as well as the fact that if opinions were stated on Wikipedia, it could cause editor discourse as no opinion is main. You could click on a page advocating for the views of the Nazis and click onto a page advocating for the views of Joseph Stalin. There is no sitewide view and opinions range everywhere you go, which is why it is important to not express them. Remember, changing history can mean good or it can mean bad in multiple ways.
Here are some userboxes that I did not make. I'm inserting this little string of text to separate the userboxes I made from the userboxes I didn't make.
