About me

[edit]

Hey there! I'm using Wikipedia

I'm an English student at the University of Freiburg, Germany, and want to become a teacher someday. I'm taking OberMegaTrans' translation course this semester. We are a group of eight students, who want to improve Wikipedia by translating German articles into English and vice versa.

Interests

[edit]

Intellectual

[edit]

I love to play with ideas, even crazy ones, especially when they are related to philosophy or theology, like Thomas Nagel's "What Is It Like to Be a Bat?". I'm also very interested in history, particularly ancient history, and biology.

Sports

[edit]

As a kid, I participated in a number of different sports for varying lengths of time, including ping-pong, track and field and chess, which is, somewhat amusingly, recognized as a sport by the International Olympic Committee. Then, as a teenager, I became passionate about strength training, the only sport I have stuck with over the years.

Conspiracy theories

[edit]

I am a supporter of the Birds Aren't Real movement.
