No lines in this page start with an asterisk. If a rendered line starts with a bullet then the magic word on the previous rendered line does not escape a leading asterisk. Some of the magic words cannot produce a result with a leading asterisk. For some of the magic words like int, an unescaped asterisk may be wanted.
