From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

My research focuses on artists’ archives, ethnography, and art-historical legacy preservation. My interest in editing Wikipedia stems from the recurring experience of archival silences surrounding underrepresented artists. Much of my work involves studio visits, oral history interviews, video documentation, and photography. I have contributed some of these photographs to Wikimedia Commons under a free-use license.

My academic and personal work at times overlaps with the subjects I write about, particularly in relation to a historic artists' community in eastern Long Island, which is my geographic focus. While I am not currently receiving any compensation for my contributions to Wikipedia, some of my preservation-related work, here or elsewhere, may in the future be supported by institutional funding, artists’ estates, or grants. In the interest of transparency, I disclose these connections. I am a self-taught editor and began contributing a few months ago, so I welcome constructive feedback from the community as I continue to learn and improve.
