Subodh is the founder and chairman of Euromax Capital Group and Eirene group of companies. Subodh is based in London, Dubai and India having over 30 years’ top level experience in international business development, strategic advisory and investment banking services. In 2017, he was awarded as the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ at the Asian Business Awards and ‘Leader of the decade’ at the Women Economic Forum. He brings a rare earthy and international touch to all the deals he works on. Above all, Subodh is best known for his ability to think big and face challenges head on. Subodh is actively engaged in giving strategic guidance in major global commodity Euromax group company.

Awards and recognitions

Subodh has been a special advisor to the ‘Olusegun Obasanjo’ foundation, founded by the former president of Nigeria, which is involved in the advancement of human security throughout Africa. Subodh was a trustee of Pratham UK (India’s premier charity literacy movement involving education of 100 million children).

He was a patron of ‘The Loomba Foundation’, a charity caring for widows and children throughout the world. He also served as Director of The Rajasthan Foundation. He received ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ Award at the Asian Business Awards in 2017. He has also received ‘Leader of the decade’ at Women Economic Forum in the year 2017.

Activities

A specialist deal maker, Subodh’s forte is building and sustaining relationships across India, South-East Asia, Africa, Middle East and East Europe. Subodh has participated in M&A transactions valued in excess of $30bn particularly in the telecom, steel, oil & gas, mining sectors and has also advised on equity & other financing in excess of $10bn in infrastructure, engineering, metals, media, textiles, aviation, mining, hospitality etc. in India, Africa and Europe including for Indian majors like Tata, Reliance, Essar, Jindal’s and Welspun & global majors like Alfa Group of Russia, CTCE China etc. Subodh had been instrumental in Euromax push in Africa resulting in projects worth several billions with some of the top companies in India, South East Asia and Europe. Subodh pioneered LNG in India in 1995 creating a Joint Venture with Govt. of India Company for the construction of a $1.3 billion facility of a private natural gas reseller in India. Subodh had developed strategic partnership with China Centre for International Economic Exchanges (CCIEE). Subodh had been Instrumental in Euromax entering into a J/V with SAE Capital - Last mega deal closed was 12.2 billion euro acquisition of WIND TELECOM. Subodh founded Eirene Group of companies, is a premier global ‘high technology & homeland security’ manufacturing industry cluster with cutting edge niche technology from leading companies across the globe and market focus on India, middle-east, Asia and successfully setting up multiple joint ventures in India. In 2014, Subodh signed an MoU with GLONASS Union to contribute to joint development and implementation of projects like ‘Navigation Platform’ and ‘Geographical Information System’ in India.
