Rise of the Gole Number System (2025)

[edit]
  • Published in Indian Journal of Advanced Mathematics, Vol. 5 Issue 1, April 2025; DOI: 10.54105/ijam.A1194.05010425.
  • Introduces the Gole Number System, a numeral system based on an extended radix‑100 representation, aiming to compactly represent large numbers using approximately 50% fewer symbols than standard decimal. [1]
  • Includes formal definitions, symbol mappings (via RNumber/RSCII character sets), conversion algorithms and arithmetic operations within the Gole system.
  • Potential applications span data compression, efficient memory/display usage, secure numerical indexing, and digital encoding systems.
  • Inspired by Srinivasa Ramanujan’s work in number theory and includes a patent application (India Pat. App. 202441034973, May 2024). journals.
