Nevercode is a mobile application development tools software company founded in 2017. The company offers an extended family of continuous integration and continuous delivery products targeted towards iOS, Android, React Native and Flutter application developers. Its products include Nevercode CI/CD, Codemagic CI/CD and Testmagic.

The company has partnered with Google’s Flutter team for front-line triage in Flutter’s GitHub repositories in 2019.^[1] ^[2]

During the Flutter Interact held in December 2019, Flutter announced Nevercode as its featured tooling partner. ^[3]

History

Nevercode spun out of Mobi Solutions Group [6], a mobile value-added services provider and developer.

The name of the company reflects on their mission to eliminate grunt manual work from the development process and is encapsulated in the company’s slogan: “Never code what you can automate.” Today, Nevercode is among the top mobile CI/CD services ^[4] on the market with clients from 40 countries all over the world. Some of their biggest clients include Toyota, BMW, Channel 4, Walmart and SurveyMonkey.

In December 2018, Nevercode company launched Codemagic CI/CD on the Google stage at the Flutter Live event held in London. ^[5] ^[6] ^[7] ^[8]

Products

Codemagic

Codemagic is the world's first CI/CD tool created specifically for building Flutter applications. After the release of codemagic.yaml, Codemagic CI/CD provides the possibility to build also native Android and iOS applications as well as other cross-platform mobile applications in addition to Flutter applications.

In February 2020, Flutter UX team released the results of their Q4 2019 user survey ^[9] It revealed that with a high 74% satisfaction rate Codemagic CI/CD by Nevercode is the most preferred CI/CD tool among Flutter application developers. ^[10]

Nevercode

Nevercode is a cloud-based continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) service for iOS, Android, Cordova, Ionic, React Native and Flutter projects.

Testmagic

Testmagic is a mobile application for easy distribution and testing of Android and iOS beta releases. Nevercode launched this beta testing platform built with Flutter at Mobile World Congress 2019. ^[11]

Testmagic will be an open source project.
