Swègypte
The sovereign nation of Swègypte was created on an unknown date during the year of 2004. The Formation Agreement took place in the formidable city of Muscat, the capital of the Sultanate of Oman. The co-presidents and founders are Yasser Nadeem (originally of Egypt) and Jakob Pearson (originally of Sweden).
They have, on the basis of a great friendship and a vision of a better future where countries will unite, put their hearts into writing the beginnings of a national language (swègyptienne) influenced by the Arabic, Swedish and French languages.
As part of swègyptienne, the co-presidents have given each other names that compliment their character. Yasser's given name, Petrrus, descends from a Biblical figure, promoting Jakob's Christian faith. Jakob's given name, Khallil, descends from a prophet of the Quran, promoting Yasser's Muslim faith.
The co-presidents have combined their musical and poetic talents to create the beginnings of an album, 'yasserjakob'. They have completed and recorded one song, liquid lust , in the Memories studio in Muscat. In their own homes, they have began the test recordings of other songs such as bobby's gift . All music is written by Yasser. All lyrics are written by Jakob.
