Article Evaluation:
[edit]"To Build a Fire" page
[edit]"It also reflects what London learned in the Yukon Territory" Did he spend time there himself? No explanation is given, the reference leads to an article about Abraham Lincoln?
"Shortly after resuming his hike, he breaks through the ice and soaks his feet and lower legs ("half-way to the knees")," Should this be cited?
References 7 and 9 are the same
References 5-10 and 13-19 are just links
Reference 16 leads to a general yahoo page
Reference 11 leads to a log in for James Madison University so it cannot be accessed by the public
In the character relationships section it claims he is strict with his dog "as explicitly mentioned by London" but there is no source. Should this be removed? Maybe they are referring to the story, but the word strict is never used so I am not sure of the truth of this statement
This section needs a lot of editing, especially the second paragraph that includes things like "the dog in the story shows the dog's instinct" (awkward phrasing) and "the dogs instinct leads it to be confused by the mans actions" (missing apostrophes)
The 1902 version section is a copy-paste of what is stated about it in the introduction. Should it be rewritten, or maybe one of them can just be deleted?
