Option 1
[edit]- Riot Police
- This article is lacking of information regarding the historical prevalence of riot police. The lead section is very short, and does not describe more other than the fact that riot police are intended to control riots. The riot gear section is also short with little information regarding the use of said riot gear. The longest piece is a list on global riot police organizations. There seems to be a lot of missing information that could be filled.

Option 2
[edit]- Pinkerton (Detective Agency)
- The article has a valid lead that briefly describes what Pinkerton is and its history. The origins section is short which could be expanded on to further give crucial information on why the agency was created. The 'Forerunners to the Secret Service' has a warning that it needs to be expanded, which would be a perfect place for me to add onto it with accurate sources. There are small sections of specific historical events, which could also be expanded. The modern era section is longer than the historical sections, so I think in general the historical sections could be expanded on. The Pinkerton Detective Agency also has a history of acting as a private police force, so that could be a key section to be added.

Option 3
[edit]- Joint Terrorism Task Force
- The lead to this article is short and straight to the point. The history and organization section is short and could be expanded upon. The 'Investigations' section is also quite short and could definitely use some added information. There are plenty of examples found from a quick academic article search. The criticism section is as long as all of the previous sections, which should be changed to balance the article out. In its current state, it gives a sense of bias with the differing lengths.

Option 4
[edit]- Neoliberalism
- This article is very thorough in the majority of its content. It contains a lengthy amount of citations in the bibliography as well. There is one section that it appears to be missing. After searching through the UW Library database, I realized that there is a fair amount of literature regarding police under neoliberalism. I had originally thought that it could be its own article, but it may make more sense to add it to the Neoliberalism article that already exists. The police section could be added as its own category as well as a separate category under 'Criticism'.
