O: Little China

Hi, I'm Zyang.

Welcome to my user's page. Please don't bring discussions from other pages here. Use diffs when discussing edits. If you leave me a message on my talk page, I will reply to you on the same talk page, so you might want to keep an eye on it. I will not follow any talk pages if the conversation has moved elsewhere. I check my watchlist regularly. I don't always add talk pages to that list when I comment on them, unless it's a user talk page with whom I've started another important discussion. Thanks.

Wikipedia has its control systems developed through consensus. As a User, I try to comply with the community's principles. If you disagree with any of my actions, please let me know. It might be that I didn't explain myself well, that I made a mistake, or that a third opinion is needed. Everything has a solution if we talk about it:
  • [[1]] is at your disposal and I try to respond as soon as possible.
  • If you have any reason for the message not to be public, you can send me a private email.

Wikipedian Maxims

[edit]

My personal opinions, or those I subscribe to, about the project:

  • Wikipedia isn't politically correct, it's in properly correct Spanish.
  • Objectivity isn't Wikipedia's goal, but rather neutrality.
  • It's not our job to authenticate truthfulness, but to verify authenticity.
  • Wikipedia functions as a "well-meaning anarchy" (Gabriel Bibiloni)
  • Fair use is a Wild West law.
  • If you can do it, try it. The opinion of someone who tried is more respectable than that of someone who just watches.

Thoughts

[edit]

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

As I am imperfect and need the tolerance and kindness of others, I must also tolerate the world's defects until I can find the secret that will allow me to remedy them.
