Information icon Hello, I'm Aydoh8. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Kathy Boudin seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Aydoh8[what have I done now?] 01:06, 20 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The definition of terrorist is the use of violence against noncombatants. The edits reflected that. Kathy Boudin was engaged in terrorism against noncombatants, including decommissioned officers. Her civilian neighbors were also impacted. 187.132.231.121 (talk) 01:11, 20 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Kathy Boudin. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Jiltedsquirrel 🌰 (talk || contribs) 01:13, 20 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I did not add commentary or POV. The definition of terrorist is included in the wiipedia page for terrorism. She was engaged in and encouraged violence against noncombatants. 187.132.231.121 (talk) 01:14, 20 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I am not violating the neutral point of view policy. Her actions are compatible with the definition of terrorist. Please escalate. 187.132.231.121 (talk) 01:16, 20 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
All content on wikipedia needs to be attributable to WP:RS. If there are sources describing her as such, they would be required in the article before being able to add that claim. Per WP:SUBSTANTIATE (within the neutral point of view policy), biased claims must be supported by sources. Jiltedsquirrel 🌰 (talk || contribs) 01:19, 20 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I did add the sources, which included her participation in the Greenwich Village, which you removed. It's possible that you are biased.
There are numerous sources that refer to her as a terrorist, including from the New York Times and international coverage. Her neighbors in Greenwich referred to the damage they caused. How would you like me to proceed?

Per MOS:TERRORIST, the term must be widely used to describe the subject the term is being applied to. Can you provide those sources? It may also be helpful to review Talk:Kathy_Boudin#Lead_description as this term has been added to the article in the past and consensus has not been found to include it in the lead. This discussion is probably better moved to the article talk page to find consensus on including the content so interested editors may join the conversation. There are substantial sources to support this claim, from independent journalists, academic resources, to government resources. She encouraged violence against noncombatants and noncomissions officers. That's terrorism.
I will add it per your advice and we can proceed from there. 187.132.231.121 (talk) 01:30, 20 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
