Leaning in

[edit]

Hello Bridget. I noticed that in this message to me, you babbled on and on before getting to the point. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you remembered to Lean In. If this was a mistake, don't worry, you can always Lean In. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can make sure to Lean In. Thank you. We are ignoring the obvious, so do you have a name or subject we should consider?

DYK for Samantha Kane

[edit]

On 1 June 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Samantha Kane, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the Lady Carbisdale led an unsuccessful takeover bid for Sheffield United F.C. and, after a gender transition, was interviewed to become its chief executive? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Samantha Kane. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Samantha Kane), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

I have sent you an e-mail

Hello, Bridget. Please check your email; you've got mail!
It may take a few minutes from the time the email is sent for it to show up in your inbox. You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{You've got mail}} or {{ygm}} template.

Hi Bridget! I have sent you an e-mail with a simple request I made there. Can you complete it please? Thanks PawelDorowski (talk) 06:06, 6 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I can't create the Cherokee-language article unfortunately. Maybe one of the other editors you messaged can help. Bridget (talk) 11:36, 6 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Bridget Why you can't use the content I provided and write the article? I can't do it myself due to not having access to that Wiki. I asked other users but they didn't replied to me. If you really can't create the article, please ask someone you may know that can create it. Thanks PawelDorowski (talk) 12:08, 6 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe a member of WikiProject Indigenous peoples of North America can help? Bridget (talk) 16:52, 6 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Bridget Why don't write it yourself? Write it on this link: https://chr.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/ᎳᎾ_Ꮥl_RᎡy
And use the content:

@Bridget Can you create the article for Lana Del Rey on Cherokee Wiki now with the details I provided? Thanks PawelDorowski (talk) 14:25, 7 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I have sent you a note about a page you started

Hi Bridget. Thank you for your work on Paul Saladino. Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Thanks for creating this biography for a health influencer with sometimes contentious views. He reaches WP:GNG and possibly WP:NAUTHOR, although arguably not WP:NACADEMIC - I can't find any peer-reviewed work on Scopus, for example. All editors are reminded that articles should be written from a neutral point of view, and there are signs that some of the criticism on this page veers towards being undue. This is currently sidestepped through the use of quotations (for example, "delinquent" and "laughable"). I suggest that we focus on the spirit of WP:NPOV, not just the letter of the guidance.

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Klbrain}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Hey Klbrain, maybe this is better left on the page of the person who converted it from a redirect – Bobfrombrockley? Best, Bridget (talk) 10:22, 18 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It'd dual posted on Talk:Paul Saladino, which seem to be what the NPP process bots are set up to do; but thanks for pointing this out. Klbrain (talk) 10:29, 18 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
