Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Motorcycle club. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites that you are affiliated with, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. A tag has been placed on Bikernews, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ceranthor 19:41, 25 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Removing Speedy at Bikernews

[edit]

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles you created, as you did with Bikernews. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please do the following:

  1. Place {{hangon}} on the page. Please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag(s).
  2. Make your case on the article's talk page.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 19:43, 25 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Bikernews. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 19:46, 25 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Please read external links normally avoided. If you would like to promote a website, the best thing to do would be to submit the link to dmoz.org, which is a directory of web sites. Wikipedia is not a directory, and it is not a collection of links. Discussion forums, communities, blogs, etc. are not appropriate for the External Links section of a Wikipedia article. Please post on the talk page of the article be fore re-adding the link to your site. Thanks!

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Bandidos. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you.--Dbratland (talk) 20:27, 25 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
