OK - Prior reading this message I had posted my mistake I deleted the first closing so as not to be too harsh and I must have selected to much - The individuals involved in that discussion need to learn the history of Computer DJing - I was planning on adding a page for Dr. Drax which is a pioneer much as Professor Jam and if this process is side railed by individuals with no factual knowledge other then Goggle its all going to be in vain. Thank You
One of the absolutely key principles of Wikipedia is verifiability. The idea is that we don't all have to read up on computer DJing, or the chocolate industry, or whatever topic someone chooses to write about. As long as the article author can cite sources that establish the importance of the article's subject, it all works. They don't have to be online sources - if you know about magazine articles, books, etc, that's great. FreplySpang (talk) 00:57, 12 November 2005 (UTC)
Here is a book on Computer DJing that mentions Computerized Performance System DJing in detail and is not directly associated with the developers of the program - So You Wanna Go Digital? - by Charles E. Snyder III http://www.computerdjing.com - The book has a Copyright 2004 and I've emailed the author permission to quote here.
Hi, my name is Charles and I am the author of the book which is mentioned above. If this helps matters any, I have indeed written about Computerized Performance Systems (CPS) in my book, which was originally published in 2004 and before that in a series of published articles for an online magazine (2000 - 2004). I have also been featured as a presenter at more than a dozen trade conventions and DJ Industry shows speaking on the subject of CPS as well. My book, public speaking and numerous articles (all about CPS) have been featured on a number of industry-related websites / magazines / conventions such as; Computer DJ Summit, the American Disc Jockey Association, ProDJ.com, ProDJpc.com, DJ Idea Sharing #9, DJ Chat, DJ Source Online, DJ Gold, National Association of Christian DJs, DJ Times, Disc Jockey America, Free DJ America, Mobile Beat Magazine, United States Online Disc Jockey Association, DJ Meeting of the Minds Conference & DJMMC Awards Dinner and the Central PA Disc Jockey Network to name about half of them. I hope this helps.
