BLAR notice

[edit]

Hi there. While reviewing new pages, I noticed that a page you created, Edinburgh Touch, does not appear to meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines as a standalone article. As an alternative to deletion and in line with guidance at WP:BRANCH, I've redirected it to Scottish Touch Association. If you disagree, feel free to revert my redirect and we can proceed to a deletion discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks! Dclemens1971 (talk) 13:46, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see what is wrong with this article. We are a valid organisation. We are a branch of the charity Scottish Touch Association.
You allow the Irish Rugby Football Union relationship with Leinster Rugby or New Zealand Rugby to Canterbury Rugby Football Union. This is our relationship. Cspscot (talk) 14:03, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The article was unsourced, and written in a highly promotional tone, and I couldn't find any significant coverage of Edinburgh Touch in secondary sources online, so I support the redirect. Please also read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest, thanks. Wikishovel (talk) 14:19, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
