Speedy deletion nomination of Adercon
[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Adercon requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. reddogsix (talk) 04:11, 18 June 2015 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. I have moved this down, because new contributions should go at the bottom of talk pages, to keep the conversation in order.
I guess your question is about the deletion of Adercon. There are two important things about Wikipedia I need to explain. (Personally, I wish they were explained to new users before sign-on, but the general view is that new users should not be put off by being given things to read).
First, Wikipedia is not a "list of everything" or a business listing directory, and is in fact quite selective about article subjects. It does not expect to have articles about every company that exists, any more than about every person. The inclusion criterion is called Wikipedia:Notability, and is not a matter of opinion but has to be demonstrated by references showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." Significant means more than just listing-type mentions; reliable excludes Facebook, Youtube, blogs, places where anyone can post anything; independent excludes the subject's own website, affiliated ones and anything based on press releases. The test is, have people not connected with the subject thought it significant enough to write substantial comment about? See also Wikipedia:Notability (summary) and Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies).
Second, Wikipedia is not a place for people to write about themselves or their own concerns. Since this is your company, you have from Wikipedia's point of view a Wikipedia:Conflict of interest, and should carefully read that page and the Wikipedia:plain and simple conflict of interest guide. In brief, you should not edit directly about your company, but may submit a draft through the WP:Articles for deletion process for uninvolved users to consider. Similarly, if there is an article, you should not edit it directly but may make suggestions on the article talk page, declaring your interest.
Before deciding to make a draft, consider notability carefully: it is quite a demanding test, and many perfectly worthy organizations do not meet it. That is not at all to their discredit, but it means they are not suitable subjects for an encyclopedia.
