Debasish's peer review by Kai

[edit]

1. The section "Metrics at the global scale" seems to have a small order and structure issue. The sub-sections are "United Nations Indicators", "Benchmarks, indicators, indexes, auditing etc.", "Resource metrics", and "Energy return on energy investment". The first subsection can be contained by the second subsection. Additionally, the name of the second subsection probably can avoid using "etc".

2. The "Economics, oil, and energy" seems not completed.

3. The contents in "Hubbert Peaks" are clear and well-organized. Some additional work might be done to the "Renewable resources" part since it only includes Fisheries.

4. The reference sources in the section "Sustainability indicators and their function" might be better replaced with some peer-reviewed articles which should be a lot.

5. In the section "Sustainability need and framework", the steps are clear and easy to follow. It would be better if any references can be added to support the contents.

6. In the "Metrics at the global scale" - "Benchmarks, indicators, indexes, auditing etc." - "Auditing", the ISO 14000 is an integration of a huge standard family. It might be further clarified in some way.
