Information icon Hello, I'm Augmented Seventh. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. On Wikipedia, it's important that article content be verifiable. If you'd like to resubmit your change with a citation, your edit is archived in the page history. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Augmented Seventh🎱 06:16, 18 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Augmented Seventh. I changed the middle name of my uncle. Wilbert "Bill" Alexander Cobbs was my uncle. My mother's oldest brother. I changed his middle name from Francisco (which is incorrect) to Alexander because it needs to be corrected. I am his niece by blood. His middle name is Alexander. So I don't know what you want me to cite, his birth certificate? Empowerlegacy (talk) 06:21, 18 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Bill Cobbs. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Materialscientist (talk) 06:44, 18 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I appreciate you all sending me the policies for making edits on Wikipedia but here is the issue. Bill Cobbs is my uncle. We just celebrated his 91st birthday yesterday without him because he's no longer with us. My family is trying to understand where the name "Francisco" came from because his name is WILBERT ALEXANDER COBBS. The controversy is that Francisco is NOT his name. I only created this account to correct my uncle's name because it is upsetting my family. So please enlighten me as to what source you would like for me to cite, his birth certificate or his death certificate considering that me being a living relative isn't enough?
