Stop Media Ban : Context of Media Repression in Moldova

[edit]

Hello, I would like to discuss this edit with you. Don't you think that a short paragraph on the context in which this NGO is located (with the Template:Main redirecting to Mass media in Moldova) would be helpful? Thank you :) Arek7 (talk) 07:16, 23 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Arek7 it's not wrong to include some background info, but a good rule of thumb is to check sources that are about Stop Media Ban and see what background info they include in the article . That way you can ensure that the information included is relevant and proportional. (t · c) buidhe 12:07, 23 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for enlightening me on this. I now understand the references I should add to insert background paragraphes. Have a good day, Arek7 (talk) 13:55, 23 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Turns All Year

[edit]

On 24 May 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Turns All Year, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that some people ski every month of the year? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Turns All Year. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Turns All Year), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hello, Buidhe,

I think if you are going to revert all of an editor's sourced contributions, you have to be willing to discuss this content on the article talk page and not just dismiss them, even if you have little respect for the sources. The editor is trying to abide by Wikipedia's guidelines and even though you have a different opinion, you should at least be willing to engage with them. Thank you, in advance for putting forth an effort. Liz Read! Talk! 08:07, 3 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
