Information icon Hi Focuspph, I'm MrOllie. Thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently made additions to one or more articles without citing a reliable source. Please note that all content and edits on Wikipedia are expected to be verifiable in reliable sources. In articles related to medical topics, the standard for content and sourcing is defined at WP:MEDRS, and in your edit you did not include any references that meet that ideal. Please have a look at MEDRS to learn about the quality standards for medical sourcing. You might also want to take a look at WikiProject Medicine. If you have any questions related to sourcing of medical issues, you can ask at the WikiProject Medicine Talk page. For general questions about sourcing, see Wikipedia:Reliable sources. Hi MrOllie,
Thank you for your suggestion. Vacuum induced uterine tamponade is an increasingly common technique for management of postpartum hemorrhage used by many OBGYNs in the United States. Unfortunately in OBGYN few devices are studied using an RCT. All the studies cited were the most well designed available in this area. In fact the Bakri Balloon which is cited in multiple places was actually FDA approved based on a study of 5 cases. The fact that the technique I cited has been studied in at this point hundreds of patients exceeds the standard in Obstetrical research unfortunately. Focuspph (talk) 09:36, 25 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I now see the concern around primary sources. This being an emerging techniques which has gained a lot of popularity since COVID hasnt been cited much yet in textbooks but I will find some of those to include in the segment. Focuspph (talk) 09:38, 25 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You continue to add in noncompliant sources and promotional mentions of particular devices. Repeating the same edits again and again without fixing the problems obviously isn't going to work. MrOllie (talk) 00:14, 28 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
