Hello. You're invited to participate in The World Destubathon. We're aiming to destub a lot of articles and also improve longer stale articles. It will be held from Monday June 16 - Sunday July 13. There is over $3300 going into it, with $500 the top prize and $300 top prize for most Science and Tech destubs and improvements. If you are interested in winning something to save you money in buying books for future content, or just see it as a good editathon opportunity to see a lot of articles improved for subjects which interest you, sign up on the page in the participants section if interested. Even if you can only manage a few articles they would be very much appreciated and help make the content produced as diverse and broad as possible! ♦ Dr. Blofeld 19:26, 15 June 2025 (UTC)
Possible issue with that last edit to the Handle ID template
[edit]Hi, I just noticed a number of new Linter errors show up on the Stripped Tags list (filter to the Article namespace) related to "span" tags and Template:Handle ID. I see you've just made a change to that template. Would it be possible for you to have a look?
Thanks! – SirOlgen (talk) 20:08, 16 June 2025 (UTC)
Hello, Headbomb,
Yesterday you have tagged this category for CSD speedy deletion but categories are not deleted via CSD unless they are emptied. Please remove all of the contents of the category and then I expect an admin will honor the CSD tag and delete it. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 05:29, 23 June 2025 (UTC)
In appreciation

[edit]Hi, I added an example to Help:CS1 errors based on your edit summary. Thanks for giving an example, but it would've been quicker and easier if you'd just added it yourself. In the future, please don't use edit summaries to discuss article contents, instead use the talk page. An edit summary should instead describe the changes you're making and/or why, in a neutral manner, which in this case might look something like "No example is needed because [reason]." Personally, I'm still not sure why you insisted on removing {{Example needed}} instead of just adding an example. I saw you wrote See the list above, not those
, but a list of counterexamples is not a list of examples so I'm not sure how that's supposed to be helpful.

- By the way, maybe you can help me find what I was originally looking for: Is there a version of {{cite web}} that supports section parameters? What I ended up doing was moving the section name into the title, the title into the website name, and the website name into the publisher, which worked in the particular case I was handling, but wouldn't work in general. I guess I could put the section name in the title preceded by a section sign, if nothing else, i.e. "[title] § [section]". — W.andrea (talk) 00:16, 2 July 2025 (UTC) edited 00:24
- FWIW, I just saw that {{cite web}} supports
|at=
, but that's not quite what I'm looking for since the URL goes to the section so the section name should be part of the link text. — W.andrea (talk) 00:20, 2 July 2025 (UTC) edited 00:28
